Anna’s stomach has been in pain for quite some time. She is in the hospital and in need of an upper GI and catscan of the abdomen. The nurse explains the whole process to her and puts her in twilight. But when the contrast for the scan enters the IV anna begins to seize up. They double check that there are no allergies to contrast in her records but it is too late. Anna begins an extremely fast heart rhythm and the new AED is brought in to sync a cardioversion. Her body arches high with the jolts leading to a full arrest. The nurses work on her intensely as the monitors go flat. But they keep running the code on her refusing to give up.
